Body Contouring / Post-Weight Loss Surgery

Post-weight-loss body contouring is a staged series of operations that remove hanging skin and residual fat from the abdomen, back, thighs, arms, breasts and buttocks following significant weight loss from bariatric surgery, pregnancy, wieghtloss medications or lifestyle change. Procedures commonly include circumferential body lift, thigh lift, brachioplasty (arm lift), breast lift and upper back lift, typically spaced 3–6 months apart. It requires stable weight, optimised nutrition and realistic expectations about long scars in exchange for dramatic contour improvement.
