    Cyst Removal

Epidermoid and sebaceous cyst removal is a minor surgical procedure in which the entire cyst wall is carefully excised through a small skin incision to prevent recurrence. Treatment is recommended when cysts become painful, infected, recurrent or cosmetically bothersome; active infections are usually drained first and definitive removal delayed until the inflammation settles.
