A deep plane facelift is an advanced facial rejuvenation technique that releases the retaining ligaments beneath the SMAS layer and lifts skin, fat and muscle as one cohesive unit. Unlike traditional facelifts, it repositions the midface, jowls and neck together in a more natural vertical vector, avoiding a 'pulled' look and producing longer-lasting results. It addresses jowling, nasolabial folds, midface descent and neck laxity, usually with incisions hidden around the ear and hairline.
