Blepharoplasty rejuvenates the eyes by removing or repositioning excess skin, muscle and fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids. Upper blepharoplasty addresses hooded or heavy lids that may also limit peripheral vision, while lower blepharoplasty smooths eye bags, dark hollows and fine lines. The procedure can be cosmetic, functional or both, and is often combined with procedures such as a brow lift, midface lift or skin resurfacing for a fully refreshed result.
