    Scar Revision

Scar revision uses a range of techniques to improve the appearance or function of a scar, including surgical re-excision, tissue rearrangement, laser resurfacing, steroid injections, microneedling and silicone therapy. It is tailored to the type, age and location of the scar and the underlying tissue quality. While scars can never be completely erased, well-planned revision can make them significantly less visible and relieve resultant contractures or tethering.
